Tourer Caravans
We did start caravaning with a tourer. The van was brilliant and we loved it. We decided to purchase this caravan as it had a specific dining area that I could use in the day if I needed to work from the caravan, without disturbing the people in the lounge area of the van. The only fault with this layout is the fact you needed to move around the seating area to create a bed every night which did become a bit of a pain on times.

Living & Sleeping
The Unicorn Cadiz was designed for families of four, with an optional double bed, and fixed twin beds towards the rear of the caravan. The under locker spotlights around the caravan double up as USB points for charging your devices, with close by wall pockets to keep them stored as they charge. The two sofas which run parallel easily fold out to make up the front double bed. Large overhead lockers provide vast storage above both twin beds. At the head of the twin beds, you’ll find a headboard and another USB point to charge your devices overnight, there’s even a handy shelf just above to keep them. Two sunroofs allow natural light to flood in from the ceiling. This room is easily closed off from the rest of the caravan with a sliding door. At the front of the caravan is a large living area, flanked by overhead lockers offering yet more storage.
Kitchen
Appliance-wise you’ll find see a spacious Dometic tower refrigerator and a Thetford Caprice cooker which features an oven, grill and hob. Above the hob is a handy microwave for meals in a hurry. The three-burner hob and the single electric hotplate is covered with a proper worktop surface, meaning your worktop space is almost doubled when the hob is not in use. The sink also turns into a usable space when you’re not busy washing up. It’s supplied with two covers, a chopping board and a draining board to make the most of the space you have.
Bathroom
At the very rear of the caravan, through the walkway of the twin beds. you’ll find a large bathroom. In place of a window, you’ll find a large mirror which bounces light around the room and provides a spacious feeling.
The small details have all been considered in the bathroom; the shower cubicle is lined with a stone effect print for a more upmarket feel, above the shower, there is a fold-down rail to hang towels from, the bi-folding shower door makes getting in and out much easier, and the sink’s bowl design adds to the upmarket feel in the Unicorn Cadiz’s bathroom. Below the sink is an integrated laundry basket to keep all of those worn clothes hidden out of sight.
