Decking
We decided to add decking to the side of the caravan to allow more relaxation time outside in the sun.
Adding decking and patio slabs
To get the decking we wanted, we needed to move the storage box to the back of the caravan, So patio slabs were laid at the back of the caravan to place the storage box on. After this was completed, the box was moved.
Then we needed to add more slabs to the side of the caravan for the decking to stand on. This was all done when we were not at our site (Coronavirus closed the site).
I wanted to document this more, but unfortunately at that time, there was no other way to accomplish this.

Other Images Of Decking And The Surrounding Areas
The decking was purchased through our static caravan site. They used a company called Fitrite. The sites sales department had samples of all the colours available, so we could see exactly what the colours would look like against our own caravan. As our campsite has used these for many years, a walk around the site looking at the other caravans gave us ideas on what was possible.
Also available at our campsite was the latest Fitrite catalogue (opposite), so we could see all the styles that were possible. The catalogue was full of helpful ideas and pictures to give us inspiration.
After a look through the brochure and viewing all the options, we arranged a visit from Fiterite so they could produce a costed quote. This was done and delivered to us the same day, and the decking was then ordered shortly after.
We are very please with the results, and it was exactly what we wanted.
